As explained in the structure of the governing body section, this body operates a comprehensive programme of formal meetings (held on a half termly basis). There are no formal committees, rather working groups for the areas of development throughout the school. These working groups wll report back to the full body at the scheduled formal meetings and hence provide for public scrutiny of their work via the minutes of those meetings.
Please note that the minutes contained on this page refer to the meeting prior to the date of the meeting where they are released - this is because minutes taken at meetings have to be written up by the clerk and then ratified as a "true and accurate record" at the next formal meeting. The minutes therefore obviously create an historic record of the dealings of the governing body, other communications from the school, such as the Headteacher's newsletters, provide a more current source of news.
