Lesson: Art and design

Class: Year 3 & 4 Year: 2022 - 2023

L.K.S.2 have been inspired by their artwork being displayed in a Gallery exhibition at the Parsonage in Didsbury. Lots of our artwork is now displayed along the corridor along with some of our Design Technology work.

There are Slingshot cars that we designed, planned and tested in Design Technology.

In Art lessons we have painted Self portraits, made willow pattern plates, created optical illusion art, print and rotational artwork, O'Keefe inspired flower art tiles and modern photo montages based on the painting 'Children's Games' by Pieter Bruegel.

All the pupils are proud of their art and that it is displayed for others to appreciate.
